    Napoli are in need of a new midfielder in the January transfer window and have turned once again to Premier League signings.

    Casadei is their first choice but Chelsea’s asking price and his wages are major sticking points.

    According to Ufabet Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have identified a cheaper alternative and have set their sights on Bournemouth’s Billing.

    He has also been linked with a move to West Ham.

    Valencia are in the market for a right-back in January after missing out on Ivan Fresneda, who is set to join Como, and the Valencia have been link with a move for Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons, 25, in addition to Aston Villa teenager Kosta Nedelkovic, according to Ufabet on Thursday. 

    That has left Valencia looking for other options, with reports suggesting they are interest in Aston Villa’s Serbian right-back Nedelkovic. The Catalans are now interest in bringing in 25-year-old Bournemouth right-back Max to the Mestalla as a replacement for Thierry Correia, who has been out for the rest of the season with a serious injury. 

    Valencia are reportedly in talks with Bournemouth to sign Max on loan with an option to make the move permanent.

    However, the move would need Valencia’s attempts to sign first-choice defensive target Ivan Fresneda. Who plays for Sporting, to fall through.

    A sudden injury crisis at Bournemouth also complicates the situation with Evanilson, Enes Unal, Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo, Alex Scott, Marcus Tavernier, Luis Sinisterra and Adam Smith all currently out.
